I have been around wood from a young age. My grandfather had a woodworking business and as a young boy, I would assist in the shop where I could. He would let me try out hand tools. Those early experiences had a great impact on my creative life watching raw materials formed into finished wood furniture.
I lived along a limestone shoreline with many interesting shaped stones eroded from ages of time and water. As a young artist, these shapes provided inspiration for sculpting in stone. Lately combining stone with wood has created a new direction.
I am creating meaningful pieces that represent feelings of life expressions. My work is divided into woodworking, stone and woodworking pieces, and stone sculptures.
